With its unique three-part structure, Rock’n’Roll Unravelled tells the story of rock’n’roll from its roots to mid-1970s punk. Not just the music but also the social influences, such as the Vietnam War and the Civil Rights struggle.

Bill Black

Before Elvis, he was with Doug Poindexter and the Starlite Wranglers

He recorded five singles with Elvis at Sun Records. All 5 were credited to Elvis Presley, Scotty and Bill. They formed the Blue Moon Boys for live performances

He formed the Bill Black Combo. Between 1959 and 1962, they scored 8 hit singles on Billboard’s Top-40 and 4 on their R&B chart – including 2 #1s.
