In 2020, Rolling Stone magazine created a brand new list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. The Beatles held five positions in the album chart’s Top-35.
The five Beatles albums to make the top-40 were, Rubber Soul 35, The Beatles (White Album) 29, Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band 24, Revolver 11 and Abbey Road 5.
This is an astounding feat when you consider that no-one had four albums in the top-50. Bob Dylan was the only artist with three albums higher than #50. Just five artists managed to position two albums there, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones, Prince and Radiohead.
