Frank Carlyle is a Liverpool historian and hosts a twice-weekly current affairs show. Every month Derek Shelmerdine has a guest spot to talk about some aspect of the music of the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s. The topic is often associated with the Liverpool music scene – The Frank Carlyle Show.
This is very much a conversation between, host Frank Carlyle, Derek Shelmerdine and Frank’s other guests. There Is a central topic but the conversation can lead just about anywhere!
Derek Shelmerdine is the author of the book Rock’n’Roll Unravelled.
