Harrogate Cenotaph Centenary – 2023
Harrogate Cenotaph Centenary: Harrogate’s War Memorial was unveiled on 1 September 1923. The Cenotaph Centenary is being celebrated with an exhibition, movies and a series of illustrated talks.
Derek Shelmerdine is delivering two of those talks. They trace the development of popular music from the First World War, to the birth of The Beatles.
