HOW LED ZEPPELIN CAME TOGETHER
A look at what band members Jimmy Page, John Bonham, John Paul Jones and Robert Plant, plus manager Peter Grant and tour manager Richard Cole were up to, before they came together to form Led Zeppelin. The story begins in 1959 with Jimmy Page and his first group Red E Lewis and the Red Caps. A decade later the band released its eponymous debut album in America on 12 January 1969.

ROCK’N’ROLL UNRAVELLED SHOW
We’ll be looking at how rock’n’roll came about. It’s development into rock music in the mid-1960s, followed by the array of rock genres in the late 1960s and ‘70s. Blues, R&B, rock’n’roll, rock, prog, folk rock, country rock, psychedelia, glam, early metal, punk, new wave… they will all find their way into the shows. Plus artists and bands some well known, some more on the cult side. Stories behind classic singles and albums, record labels, venues, gigs… Not forgetting the people behind the scenes, managers, promoters, writers, Svengalis – the people who made it all happen.

If it’s relevant to the music of the 1950s, ‘60s and ‘70s I’ll be talking about it.
There will be some great music, some you’ll recognise and some that you might well be hearing for the first time.
