Chuck Berry was one of the most influential people in rock’n’roll history. John Lennon once said that if you were looking for another name for “rock’n’roll”, you would call it “Chuck Berry”.
This podcast looks at the life and times of this extraordinary singer, songwriter and guitarist. He had his first Billboard Top-40 hit with Maybelline in 1955. His song Come On gave the Rolling Stones their first UK hit single.
